1) ¿Para qué se publica este proyecto?
Nuestro propósito es escribir un código completo desde cero para esta aplicación web y luego hacer público este código.

2) ¿Cuáles son las diferencias entre el viejo paquete y este nuevo código?
Todo es diferente. El primer código trabaja muy bien, es una herramienta confiable y sencilla que hemos usado durante años pero no tiene nada que ver con el código que se propone.
La versión 2.0 es un diseño completamente nuevo, un proyecto más ambicioso y es también el resultado de una mayor experiencia.

3) ¿Cuáles son los planes para el código liberado?
Imaginamos que el código será tomado por cientos de programadores y desarrolladores para hacerlo mejor. Imaginamos equipos de trabajo que harán y mantendrán distintas versiones y paquetes alternativos. O usuarios que proporcionarán traducciones y nuevos plugins. Otros trabajarán en un paquete Nginx por ejemplo. Las posibilidades son muchas.

4) ¿Cuáles son los beneficios del nuevo código?
Los principales beneficios son: La libertad de usar y adaptar una solución de hosting GPL. Reducción de costos para empresas de todo tamaño. Flexibilidad extrema agregando características mediante nuevos plugins. Simplicidad y rapidez.

5) Digamos que estoy interesado ¿Cómo será el soporte?
Esto es algo que evolucionará con el software. GNUPanel pretende ser simple, muchos proveedores obtendrán soporte de su propio staff técnico. Otros lo obtendrán de los foros oficiales.
Nosotros ciertamente daremos soporte al paquete Debian pero habrá muchas oportunidadesd e trabajo. Por ejemplo, aquellos a cargo del paquete RPM podrían dar soporte a esa versión. Otros darán soporte a un lenguaje específico o para grandes empresas.

6) ¿Cuáles son las diferencias con CPanel, Plesk, ISPconfig, Webmin y otros paneles de hosting?
Cada desarrollo es valioso y aporta soluciones a su público. GNUPanel está enfocado en adaptabilidad, simplicidad y libertad.

1) What is this project for?
Our intent is to write a complete new code from scratch for this web application and make it public.

2) What are the differences between the old package and this new code?
Everything is different. The first code works very well, is a reliable and simple tool that we have been using for many years but has nothing to do with the new one.
The version 2.0 is a complete new design, a more ambitious project and the result of a greater experience.

3) What are the plans for the public release?
We imagine the code will be taken by hundreds of programmers and developers to improve it. We imagine teams creating and taking care of alternative packages. Or users providing translations or new plugins. Others working on a Nginx package. Possibilities are many.

4) What are the main benefits of the new code?
Main benefits are: The freedom to use and adapt a GPL web hosting solution. Costs reduction for companies of any size. Extreme flexibility adding features as plugins. Simplicity and lightness.

5) Let’s say I’m interested. What about the support?
This is something that will evolve with the software. GNUPanel is meant to be simple, many providers will get support from their own staff. Others will get support from the official forums to be started.
We will certainly provide support but there will be many jobs opportunities. For instance those working on a RPM package could provide support. Others will provide support in a specific language or for large companies.

6) What is the difference with CPanel, Plesk, ISPconfig, Webmin and many others?
Every development is valuable and carries solutions to its public. GNUPanel is focused on adaptability, simplicity and freedom.
